After that they introduced the dangerous dog act which was ruled against the import or transfer of this dog breed. The law states ‘the classification of a dog whose father was an American Buly as a dangerous dog is permissible under the state law on dangerous dogs. It was passed on 9th February 2003. Even since the law was passed, it has very much under act and being implemented on current population of the American buly bulldog.
- Ireland
In Ireland, the dog was put under ban dog act. The act implemented that the breeding and adoption banned. Later in the year 2024, another two rules were passed. They were called the 2 phase rule. They are as follows:

They were also caused damage and more attacks between 2020 and 2021 and recent were reported in 2023. This makes them a high risk dog to own and if owned, it required to be trained well and kept under constant attention.

The American Bully Bulldog was the most seized breed from 2020 to 2022. As they were involved in many illegal activities by owners. These are as follows:
